Kids TV

| | Comments (2)

I've been trawling YouTube again, this time for old kids tv shows. (Marginally better than the Tiffany video clip I was looking for on Saturday). The one below was a program called Rainbow. There's a whole generation of kids who grew up in England who can do Zippy and George voices. You had to be there at the time though.

The clip below has done the rounds for a while and for a long time everyone thought this was a real episode and couldn't believe they got away with the double entendres. In more recent years, Geoffrey (the first colourful man in the clip), said that this was a spoof they made for a Christmas Party for employees of the company that made the show. For a long time, people thought it was real.

There's no excuse for Rod, Jane and Roger the alleged musical group. Twangers at the ready.

Nick Jr in the UK has started showing Rainbow. (and Button Moon) The odd thing is that D loves it. There is no accounting for taste.
