Plans for the Weekend

I don't understand where this week has gone. It's crazy. Today I gave up a free Clipsal 500 ticket to spend the day in a training course for quality management under the standard TS16949. It was as interesting as it sounds I can tell you, but compulsory. Pah! Saying that, spending the day dozing at the back of the air conditioned classroom was probably better than sitting in the near-40 degree sun with no cover. I'm a pom and I burn easily.

Tomorrow we're offloading the twins to the MIL (does that sound bad?) and spending some time with Abbey. She has some vouchers to spend from her birthday and Xmas so hopefully it will be some much needed time for her with us ... and more importantly for her, without the twins. We'll probably shop for a bit then grab some lunch and a milkshake.

I'll probably also disappear in the evening to D's house for another jam.

Sunday should be pretty dead, but the lawns are calling me like an ugly siren so I'm sure I'll be a-mowing and a-weeding at some point too. I guess I should also put up the Ikea shelves we bought last week.

... and if I run out of things to do I know there's a long list of more stuff with my name on it.
