Not much going on here:
Slayer was great last Saturday night. It was probably the loudest gig I've been to indoors and the double bass drum drove my ears nuts. Loud or getting old?
I got the promotion at work. I am now officially the team leader. We're just finalising the salary and then that long-winded drama is over.
Saw Smokin' Aces last night and loved every last minute of it. If you liked Snatch and Lock, Stock you'll probably quite like this one. It's more Hollywood than the other two and the humour isn't so sharp as with Guy Ritchie movies, but it's shot in much the same way.

Congratulations on the promotion. I think you're very brave going to a Slayer gig. I would have taken earplugs, or waited outside LOL, but then, I am REALLY OLD!
