Room Without A View

| | Comments (2)

Today I lost my office and I now have to share with two other people. Two people I get on with and are part of the same team, so it's not all bad. I also lost my view. It was only the car park, but I got to see the comings of goings of everyone. There were the crows and magpies that, over the last two years, had their babies, taught them to fly, then repeated the ritual the following year. There were the hundreds of Corella's that would flock to the hill on the other side of the road each year. There was the RAAF Orion airplane that would buzz our building and form an impressive sight circling on it's way back to base. There was David Hick's plane that tried the same thing but failed miserably on it's way back home. There were the numerous incredibly bad but funny driving exploits of the hoons who work in the factory. All little things, but they provided a break from the monotony of work.

Sigh.
