The Weekend

| | Comments (2)

The weekend is almost over but I still have stacks to do. With some very rough maths I reckon we spent close to $1000 this weekend, re-creating my wardrobe for work (and some non-work stuff), kids clothes, eating out, groceries and a few too many DVD's.... and there are still things I should maybe have bought.

I was also quite happy to see Australia bow out of the Asian Cup at the Quarter-Finals last night. They had looked pretty shoddy in their previous games against inept opponents. If you add that to the fact they are NOT PART OF BLOODY ASIA to start with, the cockiness of the players and the downright stupidity of the local press I think it was the right thing to happen. Meh. At least the football season is about to start again in the very near future.

Other than counting down the days until we get our new car, I'm currently listening to the new White Stripes album Icky Thump, all things Angus & Julia Stone, Libertad by Velvet Revolver and reminiscing alot over Ozzy Osbourne tracks.

Tonight we dine on home-made enchiladas. Again. But I ain't complaining.

LOL at Icky Thump. Wasn't that Bill's cult group in the goodies? Something to do with Black Pudding and martial art?

loved the goodies :)

The white stripes are pretty cool too ;)
