Oh Yes, It Shall Be Mine

The car will be ours. Soon.

Paperwork tends to hold things up. We were supposed to have all of the paperwork sorted out and finalised on Thursday so we could pick the damn thing up before the weekend. The finance guy got held up with auditors at work and wasn't in Friday so it was delayed until the Monday just gone. I signed all my parts yesterday but the managers at work didn't sign theirs. The plan was to do it today but the managers didn't tell anyone they were all going on a tree-hugging love-fest at a local golf club all day.

Then the plan changed to getting documents signed Wednesday, but now it turns out the big boss is on annual leave and is not back until Thursday.

So now we just might get the car on Friday. The excitement has almost fizzled out completely, but I am sure it will come back when I get my mits on it.
