This Week

The next few days are huge for me. Apart from arriving home from long-distance travel, I hope to see England stuff Sif Ifrika in the Rugby World Cup final. The Springboks have had less challenges on the way to the final and England have had too many tough games leading up to today.

So my head says Springboks by 15 points, my heart says England by 2.

Then later this week Jo and I are off to see Angus & Julia Stone at Fowler's in Adelaide. This will be the third time we've seen them live and I know that their performance will once again give me goosebumps that last for hours. Have I mentioned before that Julia is kinda cute? Oh, it appears I did.

To give some perspective on my music tastes, or lack thereof depending on your own opinion, I recently snapped up tickets to Megadeth and Velvet Revolver in Adelaide and Iron Maiden's Sydney gig, their first visit to Oz in 15 years. I haven't seen Megadeth or Maiden since around '93 so it will be interesting to see how the old timers are doing. For Velvet Revolver, I just can't wait to see Slash in action - the guy is a guitar god!
